- Fried Kool-Aid. I had it at the Great Inland Seafood Festival. It wasn't too bad. Basically your typical fried powdered sugar donut ball, except with some kool-aid inside. It was a bit messy so I recommend using a fork.
- Tom+Chee. They feature premium soups and grilled cheese sandwiches. I ate at their new Levee location. They also have two restaurants downtown literally just a few blocks from each other. I had a blue cheese and bacon sandwich and an orange creamsicle donut thingee. I liked it. The food's surprisingly cheap, quick to make, and good to eat on the go. I especially like their diverse menu. They've got about five new menu items each day.
