I finished watching all five seasons of Angel. Overall, I was rather disappointed with it. I can see why it was cancelled. It started out strong with a good premise involving saving folks from Monsters of the Week. I liked the characters and thought there were a lot of brilliant moments (such as the hilarious Smile Time puppet episode). But then they ran out of ideas for stories and started gasping for straws with gimmicks like Angel falling in love with Cordelia, Angel having a son, everyone taking over Wolfram and Hart. In the end, it just petered out and ended with a whimper. It's a shame because I think they could've found a way to reunite Angel with Buffy and end both series on a high note.
